Mmmm Cheeseburgers!

Image
Once upon a time, one day last week my Momma asked me if I thought today would be a good day to try some cheeseburgers. Really?! What kind of silly question is that to ask!? OF COURSE it was a good day. It is ALWAYS a good day for cheeseburgers! So as soon as she opened the door out to the patio I went right to where I know I had seen cheeseburgers come from many times before and sat to wait patiently  for one of my very own to be ready. It didn't take long before Momma walked over, lifted the lid and...... ...revealed these Grandma Lucy's Tiny Tidbits Cheeseburger dog treats !  I admit, at first I was a liiiiiitttttttttle bit disappointed- then she explained that they were from my good friends at Chewy.com  and all was right in the world! ESPECIALLY once we took a peek at the bag of the bag! Look at all the good things about these treats! All natural, Made in the U.S.A, no by-products or preservatives, hormone and antibiotic free meats, wheat-free...whoa. So, w...

Savoring Summer's Flavor!

Image
Is it just me, or is summer heading out the door way to quickly this year?! In my little corner of Pennsylvania trees are already started to burst into their fall colors and starting to litter the ground. It makes for very pretty looking, but in the long run I am not ready for this season change yet! Summer just started, didn't it?! Well, even if Summer  is  ending  way  to soon, no one ever said that the fantastic  FLAVOR  of Summer had to! Fruitables to the rescue! Fruitables Watermelon flavor treats - the perfect way to extend Summer (for at least 130 tastes) longer! Now, to be honest I've never had watermelon. I don't even know what one looks like! Momma kept saying and saying that she was going to bring some home just for me to try and know what? She never did. THANKS FOR NOTHING MOM.   Now...not having had watermelon before I had no idea what to expect these to taste like. Does watermelon taste like chicken (which I'm n...

Who doesn't love a really good, yummy cookie? How about not just any really good yummy cookies but cookies that are made with all organic, human-grade ingredients? How about if all the ingredients used are no-questions asked, 100% immediately recognizable? Sounds like a really tasty deal, doesn't it? Image belongs to Paw Street Bakery! This company was founded back in 2008 after it's founders noticed a need for a dog treat company where people could trust that the treats they were feeding to their more furry family members were safe. Earlier in the month Paw Street Barkery got in touch with me and was super kind in asking if I'd be interested in taste testing one or two products of the treats that they offer. For this review, they sent me THREE different types of delicious treats:  Woofie Pies ,  Sweet Pa...

Caru should mean 'delicious'!

Image
...well, it should...but it doesn't. What the word caru, which is Welsh, actually does mean is 'to love'. Isn't that a pretty word? It's also the name of the company who's treat bars I'm going to share with you today! Here before me I have a bag of Caru Duck recipe Soft and Tasty Bars . These bars are made with  USDA inspected duck, blueberries and cranberries. Yum, what a delicious sounding combination! Of course there are a few other things in there as well to hold all that deliciousness together, here's the list of everything you can find in these treat bars: Duck, Potato Flour, Beet Molasses, Blueberries, Cranberries, Vegetable Glycerin, Dried Cultured Skim Milk, Mixed Tocopherols (a preservative). And that's it! Just as easy a list as my Momma always likes to see when giving me a treat! Notice also what these bars DO NOT contain: wheat, gluten, corn, soy or animal-byproducts...which means they are safe for pups that may suffer fro...

Review Time!

Image
We got another email from the wonderful Mr. Andrew at Chewy.com , asking if we'd like to try another new treat? Two words: Yes, please! It didn't take long for the new yumminess to arrive, because Mr.Chewy is super awesome with their shipping! Even WITH all the crazy snows we've been having, it still got to us promptly. So, what fun deliciousness is in the box? For this round of treats, Mom chose these Canidae TidNips Meaty-Licious treats (view these treats on Chewy.com's webpage here , or on Canidae's webpage here ). She chose these for me because she knows I enjoy a good soft treat over harder crunchy ones, and these seemed to fit the bill. Here's how Chewy describes these treats on the treats webpage: CANIDAE Chicken, Turkey, Lamb & Salmon TidNips are soft and tasty treats that your dog will love! Made with real chicken, turkey, lamb, and salmon, and supplemented with Vitamin E and Omega-3 fatty acids, these treats are not only fun ...
