No grooming for me today - YIPPEE! Joining in today with Blogpaws ' Wordless Wednesday bloghop!

Today Winter Storm Stella came to visit. Snow covered me! It started snowing around 10 last night, and continued on all day today until about 3 pm. We got nearly one-mini poodle high worth of snow. Honey, you loved snow so if this is you...we miss you but enough with the snow already! Don't think I'll be doing any exploring outside of the paths that Mom, Dad and Uncle Steve have shoveled for awhile... One possible good thing? If the roads aren't completely clear tomorrow Mom is going to reschedule my grooming appointment with Aggie. Cross your paws for me for some still not-clear roads! BOL

Can't believe February is almost already gone. I mean, I know it's a short month and all but...wow!  Since my mom has once again been super slack, here's a small recap of all the nothing stuff that has been happening in our little world-bubble. When Honey and I go out into the yard she turns into some kind of demanding beast. Add a little snow on the ground and oh boy...she won't let me be! I do occasionally like to run around and play, but when outside I am more likely to just enjoy sniffing around the yard. Honey is super persistent in her pestering requests to run around and play though.  Eventually I have to just stop her and give her a 'Seriously? Leave me alone!' look. Not that it ever seems to matter...

So this winter storm Jonas guy...he wasn't very nice. He came through and left a LOT of snow in lots of places. For us, it all started Saturday morning. When Mom, Dad and I all woke up and looked outside this is the sight that we were met with: According to the info from the camera, mom took this photo at 8:25am. A inch or two of snow first thing in the morning...with plenty more falling down! Mom wanted to do pictures throughout the day, but was very wary of taking her camera out into that to get all wet.  The next time she took the camera outside with us was about 1:30pm. The snow hadn't let up, and Mom wanted to go re-shovel the path from the sliding glass door over to the driveway again. (If there's lots of snow, instead of waiting for the end she likes to go out multiple times so she's only moving so much at once.) Honey and I went over to check out Mom's shoveling job. Yesterday we got LOTS of snow from winter storm Jonas.  Mom took this picture of me blasting through it at..about 2:30 yesterday afternoon. It was high, but I could still plow through it!  BUT that was at mid-afternoon...we continued to get snow all the rest of the day until about 8pm. Mom took this picture of the birdbath two hours later.  That's a lot of snow!  Tomorrow Mom'll post up some more pictures! These two pictures today are in black and white...because it's Sunday! Well...we're getting it now! Our first real snowstorm of this winter...winter storm Jonas has arrived! After waking up our first order of business is always bathroom business...so I went to look out the door... Woo look at it all already! Mom opened the door and out I went. Ok...this is far enough. Right now it's still snowing, and Mom has been out once to clear a nice path for Honey and me. She's hoping that it stops sometime later so we can get some really fun snow pictures! 

Or so that's what mom has been saying. Spring is supposed to mean weather that's more warm then cold, right? And since it's supposed to be more warm then cold that means NO more snow, right? Well then, would someone PLEASE explain what this mess that was on and off falling down yesterday was about!? You can't see it in small form very well...but there is definitely white flakes falling...and as far as Mom is concerned (me, too!) the should not be, not at all! Those flowers on the tree to the right prove that it's spring, or supposed to be.   This snow stuff at the end-ish of April? Not acceptable.  There was no snow today, but it WAS dang cold.  Bring my warm weather back!

We got a bit more snow this morning, about two more inches. Nice, soft and fluffy! I do love me some good snow...it's lots of fun to run around in... ...and I do mean run, that stuff is COLD so you have to have you're good time in it FAST. Love making tracks in the snow!

The picture above shows how much snow we have in the yard at home in PA from the last snow storm (which happened Friday night.) If you look at the picture closely, you can see it's snowing lightly again as mom took the picture. It was snowing that way all day, and overall we got about two inches. The picture below Mom took before she swept off the stairs so you can see how much. Now overnight it's said we're going to get another few inches, which isn't bad. Since Mom has off from work tomorrow, she's actually kind of excited about it. We know some of our furiends are in the areas expecting lots more...and to them we say stay safe and warm through this storm!

So it's looking more and more like I'm finally getting through to my mom and that a full blown return to Blogville is in progress! It involved a lot of being super good and even more use of THE LOOK then it really should have but in the end it looks like it's all going to be worth it! My advanced techniques on getting-my-way in action! I haven't really been around everyone's blogs to see what's been going on just yet - I'm sure I do have a lot of catching up to do! - but I hope that everyone has had a good holiday season and that the beginnings of 2015 have been good. So far for us it has been SUPER DUPER cold, and I've been spending a lot of time sweater'd up and under covers. Of course it doesn't help that the other day, under the influence of cold medicine and before this super-cold snap, mom decided it would be a good idea to steal some of my furs.  Some turned into a lot more then she really had meant to steal, and I've be...
