We're just going to pretend like it's still February for a moment, ok?

Image
...and the reason we're going to do that is so that I don't feel bad that my Chewy review is late! BOL So today is February , got it? Most definitely NOT March 1st, like the calendar claims. So for this month of February mom chose a new tasty thing from Chewy for me and Honey to try. She saw it and, despite everything looking super fun or tasty, knew it was for us for this month. Ta-da! Our very own pasta, thanks to this bag of Rachael Ray Nutrish Pawsta Beef Stuffed Riggies Recipe  Dog Treats . See, Mom knew this was THE treat for us for this month of FEBRUARY because my Dad very-much shows his Italian heritage when it comes to pasta. He will eat it all day, everyday. Same with his brothers, my uncles Steve and Kevin. But anyway, that's NOT important stuff to know...what is important is this Pawsta itself! Mom opens the bag and...a wild Honey appears! Now before Mom gives anything to Honey and I, she always checks out the ingredients. She...

#ChewyInfulencer time!

Hello Blogville! Today is a very special day...it's Chewy review day! Being out from blogging for quite awhile, it's also been quite awhile since there's been a review for Mr. Chewy. Not that the gloriousness of Chewy  and all those wonderful people who work for the company had been forgotten about! Miss. Sydney has always been super wonderful, and we all wish to her THE BEST EVER on her new promotion! While those monthly emails from Miss.Sydney will be missed...it's super exciting to now get to know and work with Miss. Natalie in this new year! Speaking of Miss. Natalie...she had quite the list of try-ables for January! Lots of good things, but one thing caught stood out, and that was the Evanger's Gently Dried Treats - to be a bit more specific about it, the Evanger's Nothing But Natural Beef Tripe Gently Dried Treats . Now, neither Honey nor I have ever in the history of ever had tried beef tripe - we didn't even know what it was! ...

It's Chewy Review Time!

Image
Hey Mom, I feel like it's been awhile since we've done a review for Mr.Chewy...it's about time, isn't it?! So...what tasty thing do I get to give my 100%-cross-my-heart-honest-doggie opinion to for December?! Ooohhhh....it's Merrick's Venison Holiday Stew ! Now I've had Merrick products before and they are always tasty. Merrick always has something they call their Five Star Promises, which Mom really likes.  What exactly are those promises? Local Growers -NO ingredients from China, with all ingredients sourced from local farms across the USA. Real, Whole Foods - they only use the freshest ingredients. They also do not use any additives, sweeteners or preservatives Merrick's own Kitchen! -All their recipe making, packing and shipping occurs in ONE place. Balanced Nutrition - Every Merrick recipe starts the same way: deboned meat! After all is said and done, each bowl of Merrick's dry recipes has a guaranteed protein level of ...

Mmmmm, it's Merrick!

Waaaay back at the beginning of June the ever-wonderful Miss. Sydney of Chewy.com sent me an email with a list of a bunch of potential amazing things to try out. Of all the things on this list there was one thing that stood out, as Mom had wanted to have me try it since she first heard of it. The product we chose to review was the Merrick Backcountry line of canned foods , but between all the yummy sounding varieties...Hearty Beef Stew, Alpine Rabbit Stew, Hearty Duck & Venison Stew, Chicken Thigh Stew, Salmon Stew, Real Beef Recipe and Real Chicken Recipie...we didn't know which to chose! Well, except for the heavily chicken based varieties, that is... In the end Mom just asked Miss. Sydney to surprise us with a yummy flavor....and what she chose for me was the Alpine Rabbit Stew ! Ta-da! Merrick's Alpine Rabbit stew! As a side note...looks like I'm five cans tall! BOL Now, I'm all for something as long as it tastes good...I'm not so very picky......

Something tasty this way comes...

So as mentioned yesterday, today I have something tasty to share with you! Now even though we were absent from Blogville, each month the thoughtful Miss. Sydney from Chewy.com would continue to send us an email with a choice of some really tasty looking treats to try. I would be all pumped up for trying something new and yummy, and kept on hoping that Mom would email Miss. Sydney back...but she never did. Something about it not being right to accept the offer if there was no plan on fulfilling our blogging end of the bargain. Well...I DO suppose she was right about that.   So when the email from Miss.Sydney came earlier this month and Mom actually accepted...I was so very excited! Not only did that mean we were coming back but...TASTY TREATS were on the way! So...for the month of May...what treats did Mom pick? First off...they really sounded really good...with lots of great-sounding things on the bag like this: Natural, USA made, Nutritious, Delicious AND grain...

What is a Beam?

Image
"A beam is a glow,  or ray of light -  to glimmer or shine, to laugh or smile" - found on the side side of a box of The Honest Kitchen Beams treats Beams is also the name of the type of treat I got to taste test today, thanks to the wonderful people at Chewy.com ! 'Beams' are a treat made by a company by the name of  The Honest Kitchen , a brand my mom has heard of many times but that we have never previously had the joy of trying out before.  So now, what exactly are these Beams things? Oh look, here it is - the ingredients list! Dehydrated Catfish Skins and... Wait...that's it?! Seriously - that's all? That's pawesome ! Well, that's all I really need to know! Mom, don't you think it's about time we got to the very best part of this review? The taste test ! So how about you open up that box and give me one? Wes' Mom: I so love this picture...since I took it I laugh every time I look at it! We...

Check out my new favorite toy!

Image
As always, our good friend Mr.Andrew at  Chewy  emailed Momma earlier at the beginning of tis month wondering if I'd be intrested in giving a try to one of a couple different products.  As always, I was super delighted to do so! This month there were a few  completely different things offered - things NOT edible - TOYS! I DO love me a good toy, and chose the   Planet Dog Orbee-Tuff Woof Fetch Ball with Rope Dog Toy . So, first off, what does Chewy.com have to say about this toy? These Orbee-Tuff Woof. Fetch balls are durable, bouncy, buoyant and mint-scented! Key Benefits Non-toxic Recyclable Rinses clean Made in the U.S.A. I have to say, this toy is SOOOO much fun! Since there's a nice rope handle on it, and the ball is a decent weight (heavy, but not too heavy!) it's super great for playing fetch! Bonus, if it hits a hard surface it bounces real well, so just when you think it's coming down and you can get it...NOPE! Becaus...
