Well...we're getting it now! Our first real snowstorm of this winter...winter storm Jonas has arrived! After waking up our first order of business is always bathroom business...so I went to look out the door... Woo look at it all already! Mom opened the door and out I went. Ok...this is far enough. Right now it's still snowing, and Mom has been out once to clear a nice path for Honey and me. She's hoping that it stops sometime later so we can get some really fun snow pictures! 

Good morning friends! Seems no matter what I do there are just some times where my mom gets super neglectful of MY blog and it doesn't get updated.  She tells me things like 'but there's nothing going on.' Or 'I don't have time today, Wes.' But REALLY I know the truth - she's lazy. What's a poodle to do?  Our wonderful mayorz suggested to bring her up on charges...but I just don't know. When she saw the comment she said something about not biting the hands that feed me... Maybe to be safe, I'll do what F&E suggest and give her a good dose of cold shoulder.  And speaking of cold... WHEW has it ever been these days! Mom and I went for a little walk around the lake this morning, and since the ground is cold and we do travel on the roads (which have been dosed with salt) Mom pulled out my doggy shoes. My muttluks are pretty stylin', don't you think? I'm never sure of these things for the ...

Or so that's what mom has been saying. Spring is supposed to mean weather that's more warm then cold, right? And since it's supposed to be more warm then cold that means NO more snow, right? Well then, would someone PLEASE explain what this mess that was on and off falling down yesterday was about!? You can't see it in small form very well...but there is definitely white flakes falling...and as far as Mom is concerned (me, too!) the should not be, not at all! Those flowers on the tree to the right prove that it's spring, or supposed to be.   This snow stuff at the end-ish of April? Not acceptable.  There was no snow today, but it WAS dang cold.  Bring my warm weather back!

We got a bit more snow this morning, about two more inches. Nice, soft and fluffy! I do love me some good snow...it's lots of fun to run around in... ...and I do mean run, that stuff is COLD so you have to have you're good time in it FAST. Love making tracks in the snow!

It's Monday and Momma's off from work, so this mean we're sending our day at poppa's again. He's currently at work at this office, so it's just Momma, Honey and me in the house right now. It is cold outside again, back into the mid 30's and not at all nice and warm and feeling like Spring at all. Apparently this cold it going to hang around a few more days, and there is even rumor of getting an inch or so of SNOW for tomorrow morning. And just when we were really starting to get rid of all the old stuff! It being cold out didn't stop me and Momma from taking a little mini exploratory walk around the backyard area, though!

Wow....look at it all! So Hercules has come and done, and left LOTS of white snow around to remember him by! Mom debated on getting on a ruler to get a true reading on how much snow we got, but figured 'more then enough' would be an accurate description. What do I think of it? YIPPEE! SNOW! I love running though it! It's light and fluffy...but so cold! When Momma checks her phone for temp it tell her it's on 1*F outside. ONE DEGREES. And that's NOT including the feel with the wind. No wonder she went outside looking like this. Wes' Mom: Just missing my other hat, coat and gloves! One degrees is also why I don't stay outside very long....as a matter of fact.... ....cold now. Can I go back in, mom?

...anyone else out there having some super winter weather happening? We are here in my corner of Pennsylvania! Lots of snow is coming down, and dog oh dog is it cold out there! Momma says the what the weather humans are calling winter storm Hercules is here, and we're supposed in an area where it's projected to get 8"-10" of snow. ...8 to 10 inches?! That's almost more snow then I am tall! Mom and I were supposed to go over the poppa's house tonight. I have a grooming appointment for tomorrow and Momma has an appointment somewheres, too, and poppa's house is closer to where all this is. We could technically still go...but there is a problem. No, it's not Hercules...not yet, anyway. This Hercules storm isn't causing to much trouble yet...this is what it looked like outside half and hour ago! The problem is the house heater! Mom says that this house stays nice and warm when it's cold outside due to an oil fuel heater...the prob...

So...this is what it looks like right this minute outside from the window by Mom's computer. More snow is falling! Yup, apparently we didn't get enough snow the other day so we're are getting more of it now. And boy is it ever cold today! Not that that stops me from wanting to go out and play. Look mom, I'm catching snowflakes on my tongue! We got lots of snow the other day...so I'm NOT actually running around on the ground...I'm running around on about a foot of the previous snow! It's been so cold lately that it's formed a hard top on it, so a little dog like myself can run around on it and not sink in. Well...not sink in too much anyway. There is an occasional soft spot that catches me by surprise. Mom won't let me stay outside to long, it IS really cold and wet and I have no coat. Yet. When I start getting covered like this Mom makes me come back inside. Fun-ruiner! It's not so bad being insider today. It's nice and warm i...

It's getting to be cold out there! Feels even colder since all my furs got cut  ThanksalotMOM! , so Mom got me a sweater. Not sure how I feel about it, I really do prefer my own furs. To be warm though, I will wear it. Mom plans on getting me a few more, so I have options during this winter. Speaking of winter...I have not seen any of this 'snow' stuff I see other doggie talk about on other blogs. Mom keeps grummbling about it when it comes up in talking, but I wish it would come here so I can finally know what it is!
