I've got something tasty to share...!

Image
And that tastiness goes by the name of  Bravo Homestyle Complete ! You see, in the month of June I received an email from my friend Ashlee, wondering if I would be interested in trying out this product from Bravo to see how I liked it. Well, I am always up for trying something new and (with luck!) tasty.  After giving her my 'YES, PLEASE' it didn't take long for a package to arrive at my door, containing two of the three varieties of the Bravo Homestyle Complete line. The only flavor that's missing here is Turkey! For the short time we waited Mom did some looking into the company and it's ingredients...and she did like what she found! Some of the good things she discovered were: Most of their meats and poultry are sourced right here in the USA (poking around the website mom found their turkey supplier is Koch Turkey Farms in Tamaqua, PA and their chicken supplier is Murray's Farms in Spring Valley, N.Y ) . A few of their ingredients do come fr...

Mischief Monday - Overdue Review!

Image
Does it count as mischief if it's something that's really badly overdue? Like, say, a review? Back forever ago  in the beginning of August Momma got an email from a Miss. Abby wondering if we'd like to do a review on Viva La Dog Spa products. Never one to miss out on trying something nifty and new, Momma said 'Yes, please!' The stuff to try came quick after that...but then of course things started to happen (ie: Momma's camera ka-puting, the computer issues, my Pop Pop..all that) and my blogging...and reviewing...wound up taking a backseat to it all. With everything getting back in order now, Momma said it was about time we got to that review! ...with, of course, apologies to Miss. Abby and those at  Viva La Dog  for it's extreme tardiness. So anyway, what is this Viva La Dog stuff that we were so kindly sent to test out? The two things sent to use were Viva Dog Facial Wipes , and Gold Medal Pets Oatmeal Soothing Dog shampoo . ((We...

More Caru deliciousness!

You all remember last Tuesday when I did a  review on Caru's Soft and Tasty Duck Recipe treats ? If you didn't, you should do on over and check it AND the giveaway I'm hosting for ONE FREE BAG of those same treats out...go ahead! I'll wait.  Back? Good! As I mentioned in the other post, those treats aren't the only yummy things that Caru carries...they almost carry a few varieties of  better then  just like homemade natural stews ! When I received the delicious duck treats to try, I was also sent not one but TWO of these stews to try for myself! I was sent both a Chicken variety and a Beef variety, but on top of those two flavors they also have one made with Turkey and one with Pork! Yummy! Here's what the Caru website has to say about their line of stews: Uncanny nutrition. Uncanny taste. Absolutely grain free. At Caru, we’re as passionate about the health and happiness of pets as you. That’s why we start with real meat or poultry as the fi...

REVIEW: Pet Naturals of Vermont Flea+Tick

Image
As you all know, Momma and I (and sometimes Poppa, too!) like to go for hikes in our area on a pretty regular basis. So far this year we've done a handful of them, with plans on doing many more this season...Momma and Poppa are even talking about going on a super-special few nights overnight trip somewhere in New York in a month or two! They say that I'm going to, and oh boy am I excited! BUT as excited as I am about that, and as much fun as hiking is it does have a few parts to it that are no fun. One of those parts is ticks and bugs. Especially  ticks, which seem to be particularly awful this year! Wes Momma: Super gross picture, I know...but after one hike this is how many ticks I pulled off my little dog despite him wearing a Seresto collar..and that isn't even all of them! These were found after a good brush down and look over, a finger scrubbing bath (and second lookover), and then another brush down and lookover while towel drying.  I have NO IDEA where so...
