Christmas Recap!

Image
Hope that everyone had a very merry Christmas, and that everyone got lots of good things! My Christmas was a very nice one...thought I really didn't get anything Christmas morning.  Well, no. I got lots of love and scratches...and that's perfectly a-ok by me! We started with my dad's Mom, Donna, making up breakfast. Uncle Steve, that toast looks really good and Honey and I both agree that we should have some. After breakfast it was time to head into the other room to open up some presents. Here's my Dad's mom, Donna, handing my uncle Kevin a present! In the back to the left is my dad's dad, Jim. And of course my Dad there in the right corner! The 25th isn't only Christmas day...it's also my uncle Kevin's birthday! He's the baby of the family and freshly turned 23. For some reason or another, he makes me nervous. I bark at him overtime he comes onto the room and act very nervous around him. No one knows why, though...

Can you guess which of the stockings there is mine? ...yes I'm giving you all THAT look...it shouldn't be THAT hard. Actually, it SHOULD be easy-peasy! OF COURSE it's the biggest one for the most good dog!  Mom...why are you laughing?!

And now....lights on!

...and these last two are some of my favorite, ever. Even thought Wes is only in silhouette...he's still a handsome little poodle dude!

Putting it up!

Image
Last week I made a decision that this year I would surprise Chris' Mom, Donna, but putting up and decorating their Christmas tree. The most important part about that is the 'and decorating' part of it. Before Chris and I started dating and I started to practically live here at their house, Donna survived here with only Honey as the only other female company.  ...and what's so bad about that?! Are you saying there's something wrong with BOYS, Momma? Just her, her husband Jim, and their three boys (Chris, Steve and Kevin)...and none of them are real get-into-the-spirit types. Their idea of decorating is finally giving in to Donna's request to put the tree up by putting it up (it's artificial) and throwing some net lighting over it.  This year, I thought that Wesley and I would take matters into our own paws and hands. Ready for assembly, Mom! It was a tree in three sections, and didn't take long at all to piece together.  ...

Very Merry Christmas!

Mom and I are about to head out and to my poppa's house for the holiday and won't be blogging tomorrow, so we wanted to wish everyone out there a super-awesome-very-Merry Christmas today. Hope you've all been good this year, 'cause Santa Paws is coming tonight!

For me?!

When Mom came home from work today, there was a box out on the porch. I had seen the mailman drop it off and boy did I give him a good barking when he came near the door  all day I had to sit around and wonder who it was for. Mom hasn't taught me to read human yet, so the scribbles on the box meant nothing. When Mom finally came home, she brought the box in...and then told me it was for ME. And it was from  Bobo ! Just like I got the help Santa Paws with Ranger this Christmas, Bobo got to help Santa Paws with me!  Mom wanted to wait until Christmas for me to open my box...but I gave her my bestest ever pleeeeeeeease face and she gave in!  Moooooooooom! I wanna open it!! OOOOOO! There looks like so much good stuff in here.... ...is this a squeeker stuffie!? OMD my favorite! There were LOTS of yummiy foods (Some banana and oatmeal treats, beef liver treats and chicken wrapped rawhides), super fun toys (a ball and the best thing ever!  a squeeker ...

Decorating and N-day...

Yesterday Mom started pulling up boxes from the basement, and these boxes were filled with Christmas stuff! Having never seen Christmas stuff, and knowing Mom would definitally need my help, I went right in as soon as the top came off the first box! Lots of stuff in here! There were big socks (Mom called them stockings), candle holders, wreaths, jingle bells, this guy... ...what's a misfit?  Just about everything but a tree! Mom says she's going to go looking for that tomorrow, but I'm not going.  Because I'll be at the most evil place in the world vet. Getting neutered . I still don't know what it means, Mom won't tell me...but I KNOW it can't be good. It's something that happens at the vet's...NOTHING good happens there.  I'd run away so I don't have to go...but look at what it's doing outside. Rain? Ewww. Maybe I'll run away tomorrow before we get in the car...when it's not raining.
