Mmmmm, it's Merrick!

Waaaay back at the beginning of June the ever-wonderful Miss. Sydney of Chewy.com sent me an email with a list of a bunch of potential amazing things to try out. Of all the things on this list there was one thing that stood out, as Mom had wanted to have me try it since she first heard of it.

The product we chose to review was the Merrick Backcountry line of canned foods, but between all the yummy sounding varieties...Hearty Beef Stew, Alpine Rabbit Stew, Hearty Duck & Venison Stew, Chicken Thigh Stew, Salmon Stew, Real Beef Recipe and Real Chicken Recipie...we didn't know which to chose! Well, except for the heavily chicken based varieties, that is... In the end Mom just asked Miss. Sydney to surprise us with a yummy flavor....and what she chose for me was the Alpine Rabbit Stew!

Ta-da! Merrick's Alpine Rabbit stew! As a side note...looks like I'm five cans tall! BOL
Now, I'm all for something as long as it tastes good...I'm not so very picky...but my Mom can be. I know she's that way because she simply wants the best for me...and with Merrick Pet Foods Mom knows that's exactly what she gets.

A good look at all areas of the can.

Some of Mom's favorite things about Merrick:
  • No ingredients from China.
  • Merrick's foods are all made in their own facilities right here in the USA (in Hereford, Texas if you'd like to know!)
  • No additives, sweeteners, colors or preservatives
  • They have a very extensive line of foods! Get bored with one flavor and there are about 87 dozen others within the brand

But that's all technical, boring stuff...I know what you really wanna see here!

You wanna check out the real deal ...see the stuff for yourself, right?

Well, here you go!

MMMMMMM! Look at that deliciousness! Nice big chunks of meat, lots of delicious gravy, plenty of peas and carrots...

Oh I can't wait to dig in and give it a try!

Oh furiends...I wish you could taste this, too! It is really just as delicious...no, even MORE delicious, then I'm sure you are imagining it to be!

Miss. Sydney...if you happen to be reading this you made the most perfect choice!
