My Chewy box!

Yesterday Momma let me open up one of my packages, and now today it's time to open up another one!

This time it was the box from one of my favoritest places in the history of ever, Chewy.com

In the beginning of May we got an email from Mr.Andrew, who works for chewy.com, with a list of yummy treats. Included in that list were lots of yummy things, but Momma narrowed it down to one type that's she's been wanting to get for me to try - The Orijen freeze-dried dog treats!

However there was one problem...Orijen freeze-dried treats come in so many mouth-watering flavors! The best Momma and I could do was narrow it down to two flavors above all, and leave the rest to fate!

Momma sent back an email to Mr.Andrew with this request:
"For this month we can't seem to make a decision between trying out the Orijen regional red freeze dried treats, or the orijen tundra freeze dried ones! ...Possible to put in a request to be surprised by one or the other?"

And of course Mr.Andrew and Chewy.com came through...but not in the way we had expected!!

They sent BOTH flavors for me to try!

Of course I was ready to try them both right then and there, but  there was ol' Momma killjoy again telling me 'No, Just one for now.'

So, she made me choose. First, she told me to wait and then walked away to set up both bags a little ways from each other. Then, she said 'Ok! Go pick one!'

I choose the green bag - the Tundra treats! Here's what Chewy.com says about these treats:

Orijen Tundra Freeze-Dried Dog Treats

Key Benefits

  • Grain-free formula reduces food-related allergies
  • Multiple sources of protein maximize absorption
  • Low-calorie dog treats
WOW! Do they sound good or what! Soo...that's what they look like on paper...but what is the actual ingredients list? What other things make these treats so good? Let's look -

Boneless venison, elk liver, boneless elk, venison liver, boneless quail, steelhead trout.

Wait...you mean that's it? That's really, really it? No fillers or nothing? WOW these things get better and better!

And OMG...do they EVER smell divine! But what they smell like and what they look like on paper aren't the most important thing - the most important thing is all about how they TASTE.

THEY TASTE AMAZING.

Delicious and meaty and I think I will do ANYTHING for more of these! So Momma, whatdoya think? Can I have more? Please?

....Or will I have to get them for myself?

(Wes' Momma Notes: These treats are of a decent size, with low odor. They smell like any other freeze dried dog treat out there, at least to my own nose.
The decent size isn't an issue, as they break apart into smaller pieces very easy for smaller dogs)

(Note: We were given one free bag of these treats to give an honest review on, and were in no way compensated otherwise. All opinions are 100% our own and 100% honest.)
