The toothie fairy came!

Image
You all remember that puppy tooth I lost yesterday? I had my mom tuck it in the corner of my doggie bed so the toothie fairy could come and get it and leave me a cookie! Well, imagine my HUUUGE disappointment when there was no cookie this morning! The tooth was gone, but no cookie. I was a sad poodle. Mom tried to console me and said that maybe the doggie toothie fairy did things differently then the human toothie fairy. Well...she was right! When she came back from a place she calls 'work' (I don't much like this place. I've never been there, but if it keeps her away so long it can't be a good place! I need her here!) she came in with a big box, and she said it was addressed to me!   Ok mom, very funny. Haha. I can't open this box on my own. A little help please? Much better! Wait, what? Brown paper?! Not funn - wha? Check behind the paper? Ok...   OH HEY! PRESENTS! The toothie fairy didn't stiff me afterall - this stuff is SO MUC...

Oh no, I lost something!

...but actually, it's ok! It was only a puppy tooth, and momma tells me that's something that's supposed to fall out!   I wonder if I tuck it into the corner of my doggie bed if the doggie tooth fairy will come and leave me a cookie?!

Black and White Sunday 2

Twice the poodles, twice the play!

Yesterday I had a really, super fun day playing with Honey all day! Since she's so much bigger then me, I like to take the high ground so we're on more even footing! Sometimes I even jump right at her, and mom tells me I just be part jackrabbit...whatever that means! Oh, and speaking of mom she tells me that later this week we're going to go somewhere really super fun! She says she thinks that I'll really like it, and I'm sure she's right. I can't wait for this 'later' time to get here so we can get to wherever it is!

Pooped out

Mom and I got to her boyfriends house last night and Honey and I wasted no time in getting down to play! We played tug, and chase, and biteyface and all sorts of fun games allll night right up until sleepy time, and then all morning! As a matter of fact, we played've been playing so hard this morning that we're both ready for nap time now... Only a little nap thought, because we both still have lots of play to do today!

Missed one already!

Image
Aw shucks, looks like I've already missed a day with my blog! Wait though, I have a good excuse! Wednesdays are my obedience school days! While that's fun enough on it's own, afterwards is even more fun, 'cause then mom and me get to go over to mom's boyfriend's house and I get to  play with Honey! There's a picture of me and Honey from earlier in the year! See, Honey is Chris' (that's mom's boyfriend, by the way!) family's standard poodle. She and I really, really, really enjoy chasing each other around his house and playing tug with toys. She's lots of fun! As a matter of fact, mom says we're going over there again tonight! Oh wait, what's that mom? We're leaving now? Yay! Time for some play! Hope everyone is having as fun a day as I'm about to go and have!

A much better day!

All that rain and gross weather from yesterday has cleared away to leave a beautiful day for today! My momma is still feeling not 100% due to her cold, but with enough cold meds she is feeling mostly human again. She even got me something from where she works...my very own pumpkin! And it's a big one, too!     She's been doing research on orchards and pumpkin patches that are dog friendly in the area so I can come along, but her search isn't turning up as much as she'd hoped. She's turned up plenty of places where us four-pawed family members used to be allowed, but are no longer. It seems like to many of our human parents and siblings didn't do their duty by removing our doodie in previous years, and so us dogs are no longer welcome. It makes mom a bit sad...she thought it would be lots of fun. It's things like that that just make her more determined to be a good poodle momma, complete by making sure my doodie never ruins anyone else's fun!  ...

Unfun day

Today has been sooooo soooo soooooooooooooooo BORING. It has been grey and rainy and wet out, with occasional downpours of rain. Combine that with mom having what she keeps calling 'the cold from hell' and I have been SO BORED. Mom keeps telling me, between nose-blowing and coughing, that she's sorry about today. Usually on her days off she has me out and about almost all day - Either in the yard, at Pet friendly stores or walking in the woods. Oh well, I guess even an active pup like me can tolerate a day like this every now and then. What do you all like to do on icky weather days and/or sick days? On another note... WOW ! Thanks everyone who commented on my first ever black and white Sunday posting! Glad to know mom and I did it correctly, and even gladder that so many people took time to leave a little note to say hi! I (and mom!) look forward to posting more fun things here, and are very excited to get to know everyone else out there in the blogging wor...

Black and white Sunday?

My momma has seen other bloggers doing this on Sunday, and she decided she would like me to try it, too! Hopefully we get it right, blog hop link thing and all!

Second post, and go!

My momma tells me it's fall, and that's why all the leaves that have been on the trees are now on the ground. They're pretty comfy too, when in a good enough pile.     She took this weird looking stick with her. I didn't trust it one bit. It had so many teeth on it, I though it might bite her! Wisely, I kept my distance as she fought with the whatever-it-is. She must have eventually won, because it then disappeared for awhile and she started to fun, important stuff: playing fetch with ME.     I LOVE bringing my wubba back to her...sometimes I just don't like to actually give it to her. She has to earn the right to throw it for me again!   And then it happened...she threw my wubba, I turned around the rock and there was the tooth-y stick thing again, hiding behind a tree!     I barked at it a few times to warn it off, but it didn't make any move...must have scared it stiff! Being the brave little poodle I am, I decided t...
