Sorrow and Joy

Yesterday momma and I heard some sad news over at Frankie and Ernie's that sweet Daisy of Downunder Daisy lost her battle with cancer and has since gone over the Rainbow Bridge. Momma and I are both sure that she was greeted well by all her friends who had gone over previously, and that she will watch carefully as Angel-Daisy over her friends and family still here on earth.

Our hearts, mine and momma's, go out to all who are hurting with this sad news.
Run free at the Bridge, sweet scottie princess, and know how much you are already missed.

Despite the sorrow of this news, there is joy also in Blogville.

Lily, of Two French Bulldogs, has a new friend to play with! His name is Julius Edward, and he does certainly look like a swell guy. I can't wait to see how much trouble fun he and Lily start having! Why not go over and welcome him to Blogville?

Speaking of fun...

All that now we have here in Pennsylvania is beginning to melt down! It's making things pretty wet and muddy and puddle-y, of course...but the most important thing about it is I can play in and/or on top of it again!

This is a SUPER joyful thing, because I was getting so sooo SOOOOO bored having to be inside, or be restricted to having to walk and run through shoveled paths.

I have enjoyed the snow this winter, but I can say that now that we've had all this snow and it's starting to melt I hope it continues to melt with no more snow coming because I am beyond ready to feel the solid ground that's hiding beneath the snow under my paws again!

Spring, come soon! Here in Pennsylvania we are ready for you!

  5. Hi Y'all!

I just had a comment from someone that they had their first daffodil in bloom. We have pollen from the trees that are budding. The daylilies are pushing their way up too.

    Y'all come by now,
