Morning!

Good morning friends! Seems no matter what I do there are just some times where my mom gets super neglectful of MY blog and it doesn't get updated. 

She tells me things like 'but there's nothing going on.' Or 'I don't have time today, Wes.'

But REALLY I know the truth - she's lazy.

What's a poodle to do? 

Our wonderful mayorz suggested to bring her up on charges...but I just don't know. When she saw the comment she said something about not biting the hands that feed me...

Maybe to be safe, I'll do what F&E suggest and give her a good dose of cold shoulder. 

And speaking of cold...

WHEW has it ever been these days!

Mom and I went for a little walk around the lake this morning, and since the ground is cold and we do travel on the roads (which have been dosed with salt) Mom pulled out my doggy shoes.

My muttluks are pretty stylin', don't you think?

I'm never sure of these things for the first few minutes and Mom just laughs at me...but soon as we get outside I am glad for them covering my little paws! I can run like the wind in these and they keep my feet nice and warm against the cold snowy ground.

It was a good morning for running along the path, and for doing some kick-back stretches in the cold sun.

It was so cold (12*F...yeesh!) that Mom was able to catch this photo of me breathing smoke like a dragon!

Now...mom also admits that part of why she hasn't been active on my blog OR my Instagram is that she's been working more on her photography - specifically nature-y stuff like birds and whatnot - and posting things on HER Instagram.

Ever since she got a  new lens....

As I ran around checking out the smells around the lake, she spent a lot of time watching the tree branches for birds - mainly what she called Black Capped Chickadees.

We weren't out there too long. It being a whole 12 degrees out her fingers soon got cold, and I could only smell and run so much in the area. 

Before long I started laying down, and since Mom took that as a sign off we went back to the house to warm up. 

She did say we would go back out again...and I think its about time that we do! 

Time to bundle up again and get out there!
